The project was implemented under a program of the Kozloduy International Fund under grant agreement No 40: Energy Efficiency in Public Buildings – Tranche V funded with 100% grant from IFC.
The project is divided into 4 lots:
- Lot 1: North-West Planning Region (36 buildings in the municipalities of Kozloduy, Vratsa, Oryahovo, Montana, Chiprovtsi, Levski, Dolni Dabnik, Kneja, Pleven, Belogradchik, Vidin, Apriltsi, Lovech, Lukovit, Troyan).
- Lot 2: South-Western Planning Region (over 39 buildings in the municipalities of Sofia, Kyustendil, Blagoevgrad, Botevgrad, Pernik, Ihtiman, Hissarya).
- Lot 3: South Central Planning Region (49 buildings in the municipalities of Septemvri, Smolyan, Kardzhali, Dimitrovgrad, Maritsa, Zlatograd, Mineral Baths, Svilengrad, Perushtitsa, Chernoochene, Zlatograd, Saedinenie, Lesichovo, Madan, Cave, Pskov, Lyubimets, Lyubimets , Karlovo, Momchilgrad, Hisarya, Ivaylovgrad, Chepelare, Plovdiv, Pazardzhik, Smolyan
- Lot 4: North Central, Northeastern and Southeastern planning regions (44 buildings in the municipalities of Shumen, Tervel, Dobrich, Vetrino, Targovishte, Smyadovo, Valchi dol, Dulgopol, Varna, Pomorie, Sliven, Karnobat, Maglizh, Primorsko, Elhovo , Aytos, Chirpan, Yambol, Radnevo, Sliven, Kazanlak, Pavlikeni, Gorna Oryahovitsa, Lyaskovets, Isperih, Alfatar, Ruse, Tryavna, Gabrovo).
Included are window replacement activities, exterior wall insulation, roofing, boiler and heating installation reconstruction, lighting rehabilitation. The implementation of the project includes energy efficiency measures in 171 public buildings.
Within the scope of the contract between ATP-Atomtoploproekt OOD and Sofia Municipality energy efficiency measures are implemented in public buildings (schools and kindergartens) on the territory of Sofia Municipality – Lot 2 at the following sites:
- 4 John Atanasov Primary School, Iskar District
- Kindergarten № 23 “Health”, Izgrev district
- Kindergarten No. 61 “Colorful Rooster”, district “Slatina”
- Kindergarten № 65 “Sunny childhood”, district “Slatina”
- Kindergarten № 104 My World, Oborishte District
- Kindergarten № 117 “Sun”, district “Poduyane”
- Kindergarten № 133 “Zornitsa”, district “Izgrev”
